“My goals? I'm more happy that the team won,” the unassuming 22-year-old told Mediaset Premium.
“I dedicate the goals to my family and my grandfather, who is in heaven. Everyone here is fighting for a starting spot in every game.”
“Vargas is shy in front of the press, but one of the most vibrant in the locker room,” explained teammate Federico Fernandez. “Today he played a great game, he needed a game like that to be unlocked.”
“We are delighted for Vargas, the only thing missing from his performances was a goal,” added assistant Coach Nicolo Frustalupi.
