According to Tuttosport newspaper, Leicester City midfielder Dennis Praet is ready to take a pay cut to return to Torino in January.

The Belgium midfielder is struggling with playing time at the King Power Stadium and wants to return to Torino where he scored two goals in 24 appearances across all competitions last season.

According to the Turin-based paper, Praet is ready to force his Leicester City exit and take a pay cut to reunite with the Granata boss Ivan Juric at the Stadio Grande Torino in the winter transfer window.

Praet earns circa €2.5m per season in England and Torino would offer him a €1.5m-a-year deal, potentially reaching €1.9-2m with add-ons.

The Serie A side did not make his move permanent for €15m last summer, replacing Praet with Nikola Vlasic from West Ham, but are still interested in the Belgian midfielder.

The Foxes are said to have lowered their transfer demands and would be open to loaning the ex-Samp man to Torino if the deal comes with an option to buy for €9m.
