It has been a decent season for the Friuli but La Gazzetta dello Sport claims the owners haven’t activated the renewal option in his current deal and are studying the possible successors at the Dacia Arena.

Ronaldo Maran and Paolo Zanetti are, according to the report, on the list of candidates for the Pozzo family, and could end up replacing the 53-year-old at the helm.

Gotti was promoted from being Igor Tudor’s assistant to becoming the head coach when the latter was sacked in November 2019.

He then expressed no intentions of keeping the job permanently, but was eventually given the task to help Udinese stay up.

The coach from Adria has picked up 1.23 points on average in his 60 games in charge of the Bianconeri and they currently have a 11-point gap down to the relegation zone.
