Il Corriere Dello Sport reports that Bologna players were threatened by angry ultras inside the dressing room at their training ground yesterday.
The Rossoblu suffered two defeats in two games after new coach Thiago Motta.
They have won just one game this season under interim coach Luca Vigiani who had replaced Sinisa Mihajlovic before Motta’s appointment.
According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, 15 representatives of Bologna ultras confronted the team inside the dressing room at the club’s training ground yesterday. It was a tense meeting that lasted circa 30 minutes, and the ultras threatened the team that it was the ‘last time they visited them peacefully.’
The training session had just ended and according to the report, Motta defended his players in front of the furious ultras. According to the report, a few people who attended the meeting had to intervene to avoid a physical clash.
Ultras reportedly said they expect a different attitude in the next two games against Sampdoria and Napoli.
The Rossoblu have earned six points in the opening eight games this season following one win, three draws and four defeats.
