Davide Ballardini reportedly has one game to save his Palermo job, after being spared the sack yesterday.
The Rosanero were expected to relieve the Coach of his duties yesterday and recall Beppe Iachini, but a reported row between Iachini and President Maurizio Zamparini gave Ballardini a stay of execution.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the squad will be confined to a training camp until the weekend trip to Verona, which will be crucial for the Coach’s future.
The newspaper reports that Zamparini has told Ballardini that he must win on Sunday, or be removed from his position.
Iachini would still be the favourite to replace him, despite yesterday’s dramatic events.
