Fiorentina and West Ham have both been handed punishments by UEFA after fan trouble broke out before and during the meeting of the two sides in the Conference League final on June 7.

Clashes between groups of supporters were reported in Prague in the build-up to the final at the Fortuna Arena, causing three injuries resulting in 16 arrests.

During the first half of the game, Fiorentina captain Cristiano Biraghi was struck by projectiles thrown onto the pitch by West Ham supporters, leaving him bleeding from the head and was forced to play the rest of the game wearing a protective bandage.

For their involvement in the troubles prior to kick-off, Fiorentina have been given a one-match ban for away supporters and have also been issued with a €30,000 fine.

The heftier of the punishments were reserved for West Ham, who have been served with a two-game ban for all supporters, the second of which will be suspended for a period of two years, as well as a €58,000 fine.
