UEFA have announced a meeting to be held on Tuesday March 17 to discuss the domestic and European competitions, including Euro 2020.

Both Serie A and La Liga have been suspended after Juventus, Inter and Real Madrid are all in put quarantine and the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League might be heading for the same measures.

Only Sevilla-Roma and Inter-Getafe has been postponed as the Europa League matches scheduled for tonight will seemingly go ahead as planned.

But UEFA have released a statement revealing that they are planning to meet on Tuesday to plan their measures against the outbreak.

“In the light of the ongoing developments in the spread of COVID-19 across Europe and the changing analysis of the World Health Organisation, UEFA has today invited representatives of its 55 members associations, together with the boards of the European Club Association and the European Leagues and a representative of FIFPro, to attend meetings by videoconference on Tuesday March 17 to discuss European football’s response to the outbreak,” read the statement on their official website.

“Discussions will include all domestic and European competitions, including UEFA EURO 2020. Further communication will be made following those meetings.”
