UEFA has confirmed Christian Eriksen was ‘transferred to hospital and has been stabilised’ after the Inter midfielder collapsed at Parken Stadium.

Christian Eriksen fell unconscious in the final minutes of the first half between Denmark and Finland in Euro 2020 and was eventually carried off the pitch.

Reports in Denmark reveals the hospital will communicate further updates at 19.45.

Medical workers checked his tongue and practiced CPR on the pitch and the players gathered around their playmaker to shield him from the cameras as the 29-year-old needed medical attention.

The teams left the pitch and the match has been postponed.

UEFA has issued a statement regarding the Denmark international’s conditions.

“Following the medical emergency involving Denmark’s player Christian Eriksen, a crisis meeting had taken place with both teams and match officials,” the UEFA said in a statement.

“Further information will be communicated at 19.45 CET. The player has been transferred to hospital and has been stabilised.”
