Eagle-eyed Juventus fans have pointed out that the club logo is notably missing from the official UEFA list for the Conference League, amid reports they could be excluded for Financial Fair Play violations.

The Bianconeri were docked 10 Serie A points in the current campaign for artificially inflating transfer fees to boost capital gains, while they are also working out a plea bargain with the FIGC to ensure no further penalties in the 2023-24 season.

They would’ve finished third in Serie A and qualified for the Champions League, but with the 10 points removed, ended up in seventh place and therefore in the Conference League.

However, UEFA are widely expected to take action against Juventus for these Financial Fair Play irregularities, including potential exclusion from their tournaments for a year.

It therefore raised suspicions when the Juventus logo was missing from the official UEFA website’s list of teams participating in the Conference League next season.

It of course may just be a human error, but it still raised eyebrows in the circumstances.

If the Bianconeri are excluded, the Conference League spot will go to the next team down in the Serie A table, which is Fiorentina.
