UEFA have been keeping a close eye on Juventus’ legal troubles and could exclude them from the Champions League, something that would also affect the women’s team.

The Bianconeri are waiting for their next hearing at the FIGC Court of Appeals, where they’ll likely be handed a new points deduction due to their alleged usage of falsified capital gains through inflated player transfer values. The hearing is scheduled for May 22.

Whilst UEFA haven’t taken any action yet, the expectation is that they’ll move to exclude Juventus from the Champions League should they qualify through winning the Europa League.

The club made various agreements with UEFA related to Financial Fair Play back in September, agreements that were based off their suspicious balance sheets, which is why UEFA are expected to respond.

As reported by Calcio e Finanza, should UEFA decide to exclude Juventus from the Champions League next season, the same punishment could also be handed to Juventus Women, who’ve qualified through their second-place finish in the league, due to the fact that the teams would be considered the same club.
