Destiny Udogie is ‘delighted’ to have scored his first goal for Tottenham while his teammate and compatriot Guglielmo Vicario reacts on Instagram.

The former Udinese left-back found the net in a 3-2 loss against West Ham on Wednesday in a game that saw Italy international Gianluca Scamacca score the winner for the Hammers.

Udogie reacted to his first Tottenham goal on Instagram: “Delighted to play my first game and score my first goal for this club. Let’s keep working,” he said.

His compatriot and new teammate Vicario commented on his post with two emojis. The Italy international had started between the sticks and was replaced at half time after conceding two goals.

On the other hand, Udogie was introduced during the break, replacing Japhet Tanganga.

Udogie signed for Tottenham a year ago but remained out on loan at Udinese in 2022-23. Vicario moved to North London in a €20m deal from Empoli earlier this summer.
