Destiny Udogie is the most prolific defender in the top five European leagues in 2022 and according to Il Corriere dello Sport, he will undergo his medical with Tottenham tomorrow.
The 19-year-old has reached an agreement to join Spurs next season and is expected to undergo his medical in London on Sunday. He will remain on loan at the Dacia Arena until June 2023, permanently moving to North London next year.
He is tipped to start against Milan today, but according to Il Corriere dello Sport and Tuttomercatoweb, new Udinese boss Andrea Sottil may decide to bench him ahead of tomorrow’s medical with Antonio Conte’s side.
Udogie was one of Serie A’s most surprising players in 2021-22 and ended his season on a high.
As Opta reports, the 19-year-old is the most prolific defender in Europe’s top five leagues in 2022 with five goals scored since the start of the year.
He was also involved in six Udinese goalsin the last six games played in Serie A.
