Jose Mourinho’s Giallorossi side look to continue their unbeaten start to the season in these Udinese vs. Roma predictions. The Zebrette are not to be overlooked however having won their last two games themselves.

Udinese vs. Roma odds

1. Roma to win – 11/12

2. Only one team to score – 5/4

3. Under 2.5 goals – 1/1

4. A goal scored in the first half – 2/5

5. Paulo Dybala to score first – 5/1

Roma travel to the Dacia Arena for Sunday evening action hoping to extent their lead in the Serie A table. I Lupi have the best record in the league this season with three wins and a draw but face a difficult Udinese side this weekend.

Gabreile Cioffi has impressed during his short tenure as Udinese manager and will have been further encourage by a well-fought win over an in-form Fiorentina mid-week. The Zebrette will be particularly pleased to have seen Beto score yet again with their in-form Brazilian the match-winner yet again.

Unfortunately for this weekend’s hosts they are likely to be in for an even sterner test against Roma on Sunday. The Giallorossi are in rampant form having brushed Monza aside in a dominant display and are justifiably heavy favourites to win on match-day five.

In-keeping with a Jose Mourinho side, Roma have managed to remain defensively compact despite their goalscoring form and have conceded in just one match so far this season. Given that Udinese have managed two clean sheets of their own a bet on only one team to score at the Dacia Arena would be worth the risk.

Cioffi’s side have based their own recent success off strong organisation out of possession and won mid-week with just 25% of the ball. The hosts are unlikely going to be as easy to break down as Monza and as a result a bet on under 2.5 goals score on Sunday could very much come through.

That having been said, Roma’s midweek win did very much look like a team that saw their front line click. The much-discussed Tammy Abraham-Paolo Dybala partnership flourished with both players impressing.

The Argentinian bagged two goals in the first half against Monza before being substituted at 65 minutes. Given his lack of match fitness it is likely that Dybala will only play a bit-part role against on Sunday so a bet on Roma to score in the first half or on their new number 21 to do it could be a wise move.
