The Zebrette look for their first win of the season but might find that difficult according to these Udinese vs. Leccepredictions. The Salentini have enjoyed a much stronger start to the campaign but are without a victory in three games going into Monday’s game.

Udinese vs. Lecce odds

1 – Lecce to win – 38/15

2 – Nikola Krstovic to score last – 8/1

3 – Lecce to keep a clean sheet  – 11/14

4 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 10/13

5 – Lazar Samardzic to score anytime – 9/2

Lecce look to get back to winning ways as they take on Udinese at the Stadio Friuli on Monday evening. Roberto D’Aversa’s side were unbeaten until match day six but a tough run of fixtures has impacted their points tally in recent weeks.

The Salentini will be confident of a return to form following the international break, as they come up against one of the worst-performing sides in Serie A this season. Udinese are one of only three teams yet to win and remain outside the relegation zone thanks to five draws, four of which came against fellow occupants of the bottom six.

Lecce are therefore our tip to secure all three points on Monday, fired to success by their summer signing Nikola Krstovic. The forward has four goals in six starts for D’Aversa’s side, making an impact later on in games, and has been the final goalscorer in three of these occasions. A wager on a similar result may well pay off on Monday.

The lack of a clinical goalscorer has proven a real problem for Udinese, having sold Beto in the summer. His replacement, Lorenzo Lucca, has failed to convince, while the gamble on Florian Thauvin looks unlikely to pay off, as the forward is yet to register a goal or assist after almost a year in black and white.

Given their opponent’s struggles up front, a bet on Lecce to secure their third clean sheet of the season should provide a return, while a safer prospect on under 2.5 goals scored would also be worthwhile.

One bright spot for Udinese this season has been their retention of Lazar Samardzic. The young midfielder seemed destined to join Inter but the deal failed at the last minute. Far from sulking, Samardzic has two goals in five starts making him Udinese’s leading goalscorer. If inspiration is to come from anywhere in the Stadio Friuli, it is likely to be from him.

Udinese team news

Andrea Sottil is not expected to make many changes to his starting XI, although Isaac Success may come in for Lorenzo Lucca. Sandi Lovric may also start having served his suspension. A lengthy injury list sees Gerard Deulofeu, Kingsley Ebosele, Adam Masina, Keinan Davis and Brenner all miss out.

Lecce team news

Alexis Blin and Lameck Banda both miss out for Lecce, who are unlikely to make many changes from the draw against Sassuolo. Remi Oudin will hope to start, providing a more attacking option in midfield, while Antonino Gallo should be fit to feature too.
