It is the final round of Serie A and these Udinese vs. Juventus predictions see Bianconeri looking to break into the top six. With no wins in his last three games, failure to secure a victory on Sunday could well see Massimiliano Allegri’s future in doubt.
Udinese vs. Juventus odds
1 – Juventus to win – 1/1
2 – Juventus to win by one goal – 11/4
3 – Under 2.5 goals scored – 10/11
4 – Only one team to score – 23/20
5 – Dusan Vlahovic to score anytime – 19/10
Juventus look to cap off what has been a disappointing season as they travel to face Udinese on Sunday evening. The Bianconeri are unable to finish in the top four to secure Champions League football and need results to fall their way in order to make the Europa League.
Fortunately for the visitors, they come up against a Udinese team that not only has nothing to play for, but also are in poor form. The Zebrette have lost their last three league matches, despite going two goals up against Salernitana last weekend.
The Old Lady has not lost to their weekend opponent in their last five encounters and, despite both teams struggling of late, we back them to take all three points on Sunday. Even so, it is unlikely to be a comprehensive victory for Juventus, who have only managed to win by two goals against Udinese once in their last six times of trying.
A wager on a one-goal victory margin may therefore well provide a return, especially given the Bianconeri’s recent struggles in front of goal. Last weekend’s defeat to Milan saw Juventus draw a blank, while their previous two matches resulted in just one goal scored for Allegri’s side.
Udinese are unlikely to be such stubborn opposition. But it would be no surprise to see two or fewer goals scored, with just one team on the scoresheet.
If anyone is to break the deadlock, the odds point towards it being the man touted to leave Juventus over the summer. Dusan Vlahovic missed last weekend’s defeat but will most likely finish the season as his team’s top scorer. A poor campaign for the Serbian forward still resulted in him breaking into double figures and Sunday offers a chance for him to further increase his transfer value.
