Udinese are expected to bring in Le Havre midfielder Pape Gueye on loan after he has been sold to Watford.

The two clubs are both owned by the Pozzo family, so regularly swap players between them on loans or for minimal fees.

According to The Daily Mail, Watford have a deal to purchase 20-year-old Gueye from French club Le Havre.

They then intend to immediately loan him out to Serie A side Udinese for the 2019-20 season, allowing him to gain experience.

There is no option to buy and Gueye will therefore return to Watford next summer.
