The pink paper believe that those talks went well and that it is only a matter of time before the 38-year-old is confirmed as Udinese’s new Coach.

Sporting director Cristiano Giaretta has also indicated that the tactician, who has been out of work since leaving San Siro at the end of the 2012-13 season, is in pole position.

“Andrea Stramaccioni is the first choice, he is ahead of everyone else. But we have not yet made it official,” Giaretta has told Sportitalia today.
