Nahuel Molina is on the verge of a sale to Atletico Madrid, claim reports, with Udinese receiving cash and Nehuen Perez in exchange.

The negotiations have been going on for a long time, despite the rumoured interest from Juventus.

According to Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb, a deal is practically done to bring Molina to Atletico Madrid.

The 24-year-old right-back was a huge bargain for Udinese, who picked him up as a free agent from Boca Juniors in September 2020.

He went on to become a regular for Argentina and participated in the Copa America winning campaign.

Now Atleti would appear to have struck an agreement with Udinese to sign Molina in exchange for cash plus full ownership of Nehuen Perez, who already spent this season on loan at the Dacia Arena.

Molina went from strength to strength last term, scoring seven goals and providing five assists in 35 Serie A appearances for Udinese.

4 thought on “Udinese talent Molina set for Atletico Madrid”
  1. Knew it. The deluded scholars of back, back, down, down actually thought he would arrive. Just like Udogie, the 1996 CL winners by penalties do not trust younger players. Cambiaso has been shipped out before even putting on the jersey and if anyone of those two Udinese players did arrive, they would be sent back out for work experience.

  2. Dear Lord juve, been linked with him for 3/4 off a yr – and we havent put in a bid and we need a right back.

I wanted Noussair Mazraoui but he went to bayern for free from ajax, would love to get Pedro Porro from sporting but he will cost 45m euro’s.
Wouldn’t mind Jeremie Frimpong or Ricardo Pereira.

Hopefully we dont sign crappy bellerin

  3. Right back, left back, no back, back, back, down, down has been the issue for years and yet the PhD bandwagon brigade call me out for repeating. Amazing, year after year Juve don’t seem to get it and never will. Juan “Panita” Cuadrado is a beast on his day, but he is not getting younger and defending is not his strength, nor should it. Then you have a Brazilian wilder beast on the left side, that is destined for the hall of fame. Last but not least the heir to Cafu, whom replaced Cancelo. There you have it. A recipe for no CL since 96.
