The final details have been sorted out, so Udinese full-back Nahuel Molina will fly out for his Atletico Madrid transfer, in exchange for circa €20m plus Nehuen Perez.
According to several sources including Sky Sport Italia, Tuttomercatoweb and more, the remaining issues have been resolved regarding the permanent transfer of Perez to Udinese.
He had already been at the Dacia Arena last season on loan, making 20 Serie A appearances and two in the Coppa Italia.
The 22-year-old was chosen to complete the package deal along with €20m cash, bringing Argentina international Molina to Atletico Madrid.
However, there is some dispute as to the format of this payment, with Sky Sport Italia claiming the figure is €12m plus another €6m in add-ons.
The total cost of the operation should still come to €27m.
Molina is now expected to fly out for his medical in Spain, which ought to be over the weekend.
It remains a huge profit for Udinese, who picked up Molina as a free agent from Boca Juniors in September 2020.
Since then, the 24-year-old has gone from strength to strength both in Serie A and internationally, helping Argentina win the Copa America.
He plays primarily on the right wing, but can also work on the left.
In 64 Serie A games, Molina contributed nine goals and 10 assists for the Friulani.
what a bargain. One of the best wingers sold for a rediculously low amount of money.
