Udinese striker Beto is already in Liverpool and undergoing his medical today ahead of a €30m plus bonuses move to Everton.

According to The Athletic, the Portuguese player landed on Merseyside this afternoon and was whisked straight to the medical facilities for his tests.

Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more are confident the cost of the operation is €30m plus add-ons, whereas The Athletic put it at a considerably lower fee of €25m plus €5m in bonuses.

There was a €35m release clause in his contract with Udinese and the Serie A side owe his old club Portimonense 50 per cent of the sell-on fee as part of their original €7m purchase in 2021.

He arrived initially on loan with obligation to buy, so the money was only paid last summer.

In 65 official appearances for Udinese, Beto has scored 22 goals and added three assists.

The 25-year-old was under contract at the Dacia Arena until June 2026 and had also been linked with Inter and Napoli during this window.

Everton are bottom of the Premier League with zero points and zero goals scored after three rounds.
