Internacional have officially signed Nico Lopez from Udinese on a four-year contract.
The striker has already undergone a medical in Montevideo, where he was on loan at Nacional.
A Uruguay international, he had a brief experience in Serie A with Roma, then Udinese and Verona, but struggled to make an impact.
The 22-year-old was also loaned out to Granada in Spain for six months in 2015.
It’s reported the transfer fee was just over €9m, which would be more than double what Udinese paid in 2013.
