Udinese have secured 21-year-old Argentine centre-back Nehuen Perez on loan from Atletico Madrid.
According to Sky Sport Italia and Tuttomercatoweb, the deal has been struck for a dry loan, so there will be no option to buy at the end of the season.
Perez had also been linked with Cagliari, Torino and Fiorentina over the summer, after completing his loan spells with Granada, Famalicao and Argentinos Juniors.
He is a regular for Argentina at Under-23 level with two goals in nine caps, while he’s also on the fringes of the senior squad.
Atletico Madrid paid €2m to sign Perez from Argentinos in 2018.
