Director of sport Cristiano Giaretta spoke to Sky Sport Italia about the current issues affecting the Stadio Friuli side.

A player unlikely to stay at Udinese is midfielder Allan, who is wanted by numerous top clubs, but above all Napoli.
“The two Presidents are discussing it directly, so I don’t know the situation,” said Giaretta.
“Allan has done very well in Italy and we want to build a competitive squad. We aim to give the fans more moments of joy.”
There is a new Coach in place, as Stefano Colantuono replaced Andrea Stramaccioni.
“The Pozzo family had already been in contact with Colantuono for several years, but for various reasons he didn’t come before this.
“We saw he is very fired up and hungry to get to work. It’s what we needed.”
