Along with Velazquez, Udinese also dismissed assistants Jimenez Serrano Julian, Baltanas Vicente Miguel and Huguet Cots Marc.

Udinese have formally chosen Nicola as their new Coach until June 2020, his first job since Crotone sacked him in December 2017.

Nicola had also been heavily linked with the Genoa job in case Ivan Juric was dismissed.

His previous jobs were at Lumezzane, Livorno and Bari.

Nicola will be presented to the media on Wednesday.
