“We should’ve at least drawn this game. VAR was made to deal with major errors, so you cannot use it to disallow a goal when Stefano Okaka’s shot was 12 metres away from Lasagna and the goalkeeper didn’t even move,” Pradè told Sky Sport Italia.
“The goalkeeper simply couldn’t get to the ball. If you use VAR like this, then we may as well never shoot from outside the box. It’s not possible. It's absurd.”
Torino also had penalty appeals for a Jens Stryger-Larsen handball as he tried to charge down a cross, but seemed to have his arms across his chest.
“I don’t feel that was a penalty, as he was on the ground, he had nowhere else to go. We are fighting for our lives here with every game and cannot see goals chalked off for nothing.
“We also need to get together with the officials and clarify once and for all what these offside and handball rules are, because I still haven’t been able to work it out.”
