Udinese director Cristiano Giaretta has confirmed they are “only details away” from selling Juan Cuadrado to Fiorentina.
The Colombia international is co-owned between the two clubs and spent this season in Florence, shattering his personal record with 11 Serie A goals.
“I can confirm it is true. We are really only details away now,” director of sport Giaretta told La Nazione.
“We are in a great position to complete Cuadrado’s definitive transfer to Fiorentina.”
It has been reported that Udinese will only accept €15m cash, although Khouma Babacar could go to the Stadio Friuli as part of the deal.
“Babacar? This element is still part of negotiations, but I won’t go into details. Did Fiorentina ask us for Luis Muriel? No.”
Babacar spent this term on loan in Serie B with Modena, scoring 20 goals in 39 games.
The Senegal international striker turned 21 last month.
