Udinese have announced that they’ve identified and banned four more fans who racially abused Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan on the weekend.

In the first half of their Serie A clash on Saturday evening, Maignan and his Rossoneri teammates walked off the pitch at the Blueenergy Stadium after the goalkeeper suffered racist abuse from a group of fans behind his goal.

Udinese have to play their next Serie A match behind closed doors as punishment for the incident, and they’ve promised to help the authorities identify and punish the supporters responsible for the racist abuse.

As confirmed today, Udinese have identified and banned four more supporters who racially abused Maignan in the first half of the clash with Milan on Saturday, using CCTV cameras to catch the perpetrators.

All five fans who were found to have racially abused Maignan have been banned for life from the Blueenergy Stadium and the club are continuing their investigation alongside the authorities.
