Udinese defender Destiny Udogie, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, accidentally crashed his car into a bar in Udine last night, but luckily nobody was hurt.

Il Messaggero Veneto reports the U21 Italy international lost control of his car, a Mercedes, crashing into a bar in Udine and destroying tables and umbrellas outside the building. The crash caused an estimated €3.000 worth of damage.

The owner said Carabinieri arrived at the scene at 3 am on Thursday. He told Il Messaggero Veneto: “It looks like a bomb has exploded here.”

Pictures published by the local paper show the consequences of Udogie’s car accident which luckily left nobody wounded.

Udogie signed for Tottenham Hotspur last summer but has remained on loan at Udinese until the end of the season. His contract in North London expires in June 2027.

The 20-year-old has three goals and three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions this season.
