Udinese played a 3-3 friendly with FC Union Berlin including injury scare for Gerard Deulofeu, while Salernitana drew 2-2 with Hoffenheim.
Pre-season is in full swing and the Friulani entertained supporters with a six-goal thriller in Leinz.
It started badly, as Deulofeu had to come off following a knock in the opening minutes.
His replacement Ilija Nestorovski then contributed two goals, while Bram Nuytinck accidentally put a cross into his own net.
Filip Benkovic soared above the crowd to nod in for 3-2, but Dominique Heintz redirected a free kick for the equaliser.
Meanwhile, Salernitana also put on a show against a German side, in this case a 2-2 draw with Hoffenheim.
Andrej Kramaric put the Germans ahead, but Julian Kristofferson was centre-stage, as he hit the woodwork, saw a penalty saved and scored the equaliser for Salernitana.
Georginio Rutter restored Hoffenheim’s lead, but only for about 60 seconds, at which point midfielder Michele Cavion skipped past a defender and found the net.
