Gian Piero Gasperini could call upon Ademola Lookman when Atalanta take on Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, as La Dea look to kick on after a 0-0 draw at home with Arsenal last time out.

La Dea are without Marco Brescianini, Matteo Ruggeri, Giorgio Scalvini and Gianluca Scamacca tonight. In their absences, there could be a front three featuring Lookman, Charles De Ketelaere and Mateo Retegui, although Lazar Samardzic will also be pushing for a start.

Ederson and Mario Pasalic could line up in midfield with Martin De Roon in the back three. Davide Zappacosta is likely to start on the left-flank again, with Raoul Bellanova on his natural right-hand side.

Shakhtar Donetsk-Atalanta is one of tonight’s early kick-offs, due to get underway at 17.45 BST.
