The agent of Salih Ucan has quashed suggestions that his client could be heading out of Roma in January.

The midfielder has struggled to establish himself at the Giallorossi since arriving on loan from Fenerbahce during the summer, and earlier this week representative Omer Uzun appeared to suggest that another temporary move was on the cards.

However, Ucan’s agent has now set the record straight and claimed that the Turkey international is ready to make up for lost time in the Eternal City after overcoming a groin injury that recently hampered his progress.

“Salih missed the last three weeks of training because of injury,” Uzan has begun to Roma Radio today.

“Prior to the match against Juventus” data-scaytid=”12″>Juventus, he played regularly in training, and his Coach, along with the rest of the staff, were very satisfied.

“In fact, he had been called up for the trip to Turin. From the physical point of view, Salih arrived in excellent condition.

“His Coach Rudi Garcia is a very happy man. Moreover, progress has been made in his Italian.

“He talks to both his teammates and Coach, but in particular, he tries to speak in Italian with Rudi Garcia.

“On the first possible occasion, the Coach will give an opportunity to Salih. This season, Salih intends to play at least 15 games.

“A loan elsewhere? Currently, there is not even consideration on Roma’s part to send Salih away. The Giallorossi are satisfied with him.

“There is no discontent between the two parties, and therefore Ucan will be able to continue his career in Rome, now he has overcome his injury.”
