Italy have called up two different squads for the upcoming Under-21 matches against Iceland, Luxembourg and Sweden after COVID-19 issues.

They have to play three games in seven days, because that includes the rescheduled European Championship qualifier in Iceland that was postponed last month due to too many players testing positive for COVID.

The Azzurrini then had to use the Under-20 team to play their next qualifier.

In order to anticipate a similar situation, the Under-21 and Under-20 teams have been essentially merged for these next three games.
