The U21 European Championship begins this week with Italy facing France, Switzerland and Norway in the group stage.

The host countries of the tournament that kicks off on June 21 are Georgia and Romania.

Georgia will play the opening game tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12, 2023, at 17:00 BST against Portugal.

Italy U21 are in group D and will debut on Thursday, June 22 at 19:45 BST against France. The Azzurri will play their first three games at the Cluj Arena in Romania.

The second match of the group stage for the Azzurri is against Switzerland on Sunday, June 25 at 17:00 BST and the group phase ends on Wednesday, June 28 at 19:45 BST against Norway.

Winners and runners-up meet in the quarter-finals and the Azzurrini will cross paths with teams of Group B. If Italy finish second in their group, they’ll meet Group B winners on July 1. If they win it, the meeting with Group B runners-up is scheduled for July 2.

Where to watch the U21 EURO?

RAI will broadcast all the matches live in Italy. The Azzurrini’s games against France and Norway are on RAI 1, while the meeting with Switzerland will be live on RAI 2. Football Italia will cover all Italy U21 matches with a liveblog.
