Italy have beaten Poland 4-3 to qualify for this summer’s European Under-19 Finals in Finland, with a hat-trick from Gianluca Scamacca.

The Azzurrini fought back twice from a goal down to equalise, then surged in front at the 65th minute before Davide Bettella sealed the victory seven minutes from time.

Cremonese striker Scamacca, on loan from Sassuolo after spells in the Roma and PSV Eindhoven academies, converted a penalty and added another two goals to complete his hat-trick.

Italy needed only two games to secure their qualification, having beaten Greece 2-0 in the opener with Scamacca bagging a brace in that game.
