Napoli stars Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are on the list of 12 nominees for the Best FIFA Men’s Player award.

The Partenopei were one of the most electric teams in Europe last season under Luciano Spalletti, easily flying to the top of the Serie A table and putting on a good show in the Champions League until their difficult quarter-final clash with Milan.

Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia were the two standout stars in Spalletti’s Napoli squad, with the former directly contributing to 36 goals and the latter 31 goals.

As announced by FIFA today, the 12 nominees for the Best FIFA Men’s Player award have been revealed, and both Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia have made the cut.

Also included was former Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who left for Saudi side Al-Nassr in the summer transfer window.

Manchester City – who won the Treble last season – have five inclusions in the list and 2022 World Cup winner Lionel Messi has also been nominated.
