Two players suspended for Serie A Week 37

The Disciplinary Commission has suspended two players for Serie A Week 37.

The Sporting Judge has the verdict after Wednesday’s eight games in the Italian top flight and there are two players disqualified for the penultimate round of fixtures.

These are Luca Caldirola of Benevento, who was sent off in the 2-0 defeat to Atalanta in Bergamo, and Karol Linetty, who was booked in the heavy 7-0 defeat to Milan last night.

The statement from the Sporting Judge says that both players have been given a one-match ban and will thus be available when the two teams clash in the last game of the season.

Benevento must cope without Caldirola against Crotone this weekend, whilst Torino face Spezia.
