As Milan ran out 2-0 winners over Lecce, two stars of the France national team were spotted in attendance in the stands at San Siro.

Benjamin Pavard and Lucas Hernandez watched on as Rafael Leao sealed the victory for the Rossoneri with a brace, netting five minutes before the end of the first half and midway through the second.

Lucas Hernandez is, of course, the brother of Milan mainstay Theo, who wore the armband for Milan against Lecce, and Pavard knows the Hernandez brothers from their time together in the national team.

Hernandez and Pavard will have also seen Les Bleus team-mates Mike Maignan and Olivier Giroud. The former started in goal as expected, Giroud missed out through injury, but was also still at the ground to cheer his team on.

The two Bayern Munich players, off the back of a disappointing 3-1 loss to Mainz on Saturday afternoon, will have visited a number of the Rossoneri squad in the dressing room after the game, as reported by DAZN.

Milan picked up three important points in their hunt to retain Champions League football for next season when Leao fired them to victory.

The Rossoneri are fifth in Serie A, level on points with Roma in fourth, who will face off against Atalanta on Monday evening.
