Switzerland are training in Stuttgart, where a famous TV Tower near their ground has been partially closed to protect the team from potential Italian ‘spies.’

Sky Sport Italia correspondent Francesco Cosatti has reached the panorama terrace of the Stuttgart TV Tower, where it is possible to have a complete view of Switzerland’s training base.

However, the side of the terrace offering a view of the training camp was closed Thursday morning while Murat Yakin’s men were preparing for an EURO 2024 Round of 16 tie against Italy with a training session closed to media and fans.

Cosatti said that the partial closure was specifically requested to protect the Swiss team from potential spies who might want to watch their training session to give Italy an advantage.

Italy and Switzerland will meet in Berlin in the EURO 2024 Round of 16 on Saturday, June 29, at 18:00 CET, 16:00 GMT.
