According to Tuttosport, Manchester United and Aston Villa have sent scouts to watch Torino right wing-back Raoul Bellanova ‘multiple times’ this season.
The Italian defender is one of the most in-form Serie A players right now having provided three assists and scored a goal in the last six league appearances.
According to Tuttosport, the 23-year-old has been scouted in many games by Manchester United and Aston Villa representatives.
The Turin-based paper claims the Red Devils are planning to sell Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer so they’ll need a new right-back for 2024-25.
On the other hand, Aston Villa have scouted both Bellanova and Inter right-back Denzel Dumfries who may leave the Nerazzurri if he fails to sign a contract extension beyond June 2025.
Bellanova joined Torino from Cagliari on a permanent €7m deal last summer after spending one year out on loan at Inter. His contract with the Granata expires in June 2027.
Bellanova hasn’t yet made his senior Italy debut, but according to Tuttosport, Luciano Spalletti is tempted to call him up for the next two games against Venezuela and Ecuador.
