“It will be a very difficult game with Frosinone,” the Croatian tactician said in his pre-match Press conference.

“We understand we are playing for lives here. We will have to change up our tactics a little, as we will play them differently than we would Inter or Atalanta.

“However, the key for us is to continue along the path we have already set out on, and that is to play with intensity, pressure the opposition when they have the ball, while still being compact and aggressive.

“At the same time though we will have to be careful to not unbalance the structure of the team and leave ourselves open. I’ve seen the team grow over the last few games.

“We played well against two great sides like Atalanta and Inter, and this week I tried to get the concept of “mentality” into my player’s heads.

“If we play like we did the last few weeks then we should do well, if, on the other hand, we go to Frosinone with the idea that we are facing a team already relegated, with nothing to play for then we won’t play well.

“We have to go there and be fully concentrated on the task at hand, and we will try to put them under pressure from the first minute.

“The two-point lead we have over Empoli is massive at this stage in the season, but the most important thing for us right now is to make sure we put in a good performance against the Giallazzurri.”

Udinese squad for Frosinone: Musso, Nicolas, Perisan; De Maio, Ekong, Nuytinck, Samir, Stryger, Ter Avest, Wilmot, Zeegelaar; Badu, D’Alessandro, De Paul, Hallfredsson, Mandragora, Micin, Sandro; Lasagna, Okaka, Pussetto, Teodorczyk
