Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor doesn’t look at the Serie A table and says the game against Juventus is easy to prepare.
Verona will host the Serie A giants at the Stadio Bentegodi tomorrow. Tudor’s side sits just three points behind the Bianconeri.
It kicks off at 17.00 UK time.
“Juventus have a great coach, the right person to solve some problems. He only needs time,” Tudor said at a press conference.
“What can we say about a club that won nine titles over the last ten years? I know football is all black or white, but things are forgotten too quickly. I am focused on my team. To me, it’s easier to prepare for these games. We’ll have to go beyond our possibilities.”
The former Juventus defender was also Andrea Pirlo’s assistant coach in Turin last season.
“I was a child when I arrived at Juventus. I left at 28. I grew up at the club and also as a coach, it was a meaningful experience. Now I am here and I’ll try to give my best for these colours.
“I don’t look at the table, I am only focused on our growth,” Tudor continued.
“I always tell my players not to think about the victory, because it can take energy away.
“The players want to win, but we need good performances. Wins are a consequence, but being obsessed with victories is not how I see sports.”
