Inter are monitoring Marcos Alonso, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel doesn’t want the former Fiorentina man to leave Stamford Bridge.

The Spaniard swapped the Franchi side with the Blues in a €23m deal in 2016.

Inter are on the lookout for a new left-back, and Alonso has been linked with a move to the Stadio Meazza.

According to reports in Italy, Chelsea were open to including the 30-year-old in a swap deal to sign Achraf Hakimi, who will complete a €70m switch to PSG instead.

Mundo Deportivo is now reporting that the Spaniard won’t leave South London at all as the Blues’ coach Thomas Tuchel wants him to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Alonso played 14 games under the German tactician at Chelsea, scoring two goals.

The contract of the former Fiorentina star expires in 2023 and both Inter and Barcelona will have to look elsewhere for a new left-back.

Marcos Alonso’s teammate Emerson Palmieri could leave Chelsea, but the defending Champions League title holders want at least €12m to part ways with the Italy international.
