According to Tuttosport, Massimiliano Allegri and Cristiano Giuntoli are convinced that the reason behind Juventus’ recent crisis is mainly psychological, although the Italian tactician could change tactics in the next game against Frosinone.

Juventus have only earned two points in the last four matches, losing to Udinese and Inter and drawing against Empoli and Hellas Verona. The Bianconeri conceded 1.25 goals per game on average in their most recent outings.

Tuttosport newspaper reports that Giuntoli and Allegri discussed Juventus’ recent poor results on Sunday, agreeing that the reason behind the crisis is mostly psychological.

Allegri and Giuntoli reportedly feel that the team overperformed in the first part of the campaign so players faced some games with a lower level of attention in February.

A 1-0 loss against Inter at the beginning of the month also had an impact on the players’ mentality and probably affected their self-confidence.

It is reported that Allegri will ‘raise his voice’ during today’s training session, slightly changing the calm approach he had had until the Verona game.

At the same time, the coach may also consider changing tactics for the next Serie A game against Frosinone using a 4-3-3 system or a 4-3-1-2.

  1. Another cop-out by Allegri. The fact that he is now finally looking to change system and looking to raise the level at training, shows he knows he is at fault for these disastrous 3 years.
