It is increasingly likely that each club and individual player will have to renegotiate deals that are due to expire on June 30, whether they are loans or contracts, to avoid chaos in July and August.

There is also the issue of when the next season will begin, especially as there is Euro 2020 at the end of it planned for June 2021.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the period of June 1-August 31 will be used for clubs to deposit preliminary agreements.

From September 1 to October 5 is when the transfer window proper will be staged, allowing for exchanges, sales and purchases.
