According to Sportitalia, Juventus have opened talks with Sassuolo for Domenico Berardi, but the Italian winger won’t leave for less than €30m, including add-ons.

The Bianconeri have reignited their interest in the Neroverdi star who, according to multiple sources, including Sportitalia, is open to moving to the Allianz Stadium this summer.

Transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà confirms the agreement between Juventus and Berardi won’t be a problem, although the Old Lady must agree on the winger’s transfer fee with Sassuolo.

According to Pedullà’s latest report, Juventus have opened talks with the Neroverdi, who have set their asking price at €25m plus €5m add-ons.

On the other hand, Juventus have reportedly offered €22-23m and are willing to include Matias Soulé or Samuel Iling-Junior. Sassuolo seem reluctant to include players in the deal, so Juventus may need to sell a few more players to raise their offer for Berardi.

The 29-year-old signed a new contract with Sassuolo exactly one year ago and his current deal at the Mapei Stadium runs out in June 2027.

  1. The thing about Berardi is that he’s good… against weaker opponents. He fails to deliver against the heavy weights.
