Romelu Lukaku has completed his return to Inter less than a year after his €113m move to Chelsea. The Belgium international will return to the Stadio Meazza on a one-year loan worth €8m plus add-ons.

The Nerazzurri confirmed Simone Inzaghi’s contract extension on Tuesday and Lukaku liked Steven Zhang’s Instagram post announcing the deal.

Inter have now put negotiations with Paulo Dybala on hold, so according to Gazzetta, Milan could pounce on the ex-Juventus star who has been in talks with the Nerazzurri for several months. According to multiple reports in Italy, Milan’s transfer budget is around €50-60m, but it can be boosted with sales.

Roma announced Nemanja Matic last week and will reportedly meet Sassuolo di discuss Davide Frattesi this week. The Giallorossi are also confident of securing the services of Mehmet Zeki Çelik from Lille.
