Sassuolo’s Marlon has officially moved to Shakhtar Donetsk, where he will join his former coach Roberto De Zerbi. The transfer of the Brazilian centre-back is the first official news of the day in Serie A, but there are many more transfer rumours involving Italian clubs.

Hakan Calhanoglu is set to join Inter as a free agent.

The 27-year-old is undergoing his medical examinations with the Nerazzurri and will sign a three-year deal with Milan’s city rivals.

According to reports in Italy, he will sign a €5m-a-year deal.

Meantime, the Rossoneri are considering replacing the Turkey international with Hakim Ziyech, Dani Ceballos or Rafinha.

Juventus will meet Sassuolo this week to discuss Manuel Locatelli, who is valued at €40m by the Neroverdi. Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal have also been linked with the 23-year-old.
