Transfer market expert Matteo Moretto took stock of Paris Saint-Germain’s position on Rafael Leao and Victor Osimhen as the Parisian giants look for a replacement for Kylian Mbappe.

The 24-year-old French star has reportedly communicated his decision to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer, and is now widely expected to make the long-awaited move to Real Madrid. His choice has already ignited the coming summer transfer window.

PSG are starting to look around for the right replacement for Mbappe and his departure saves them hundreds of millions, affording them enough funds for at least one top European star in the summer. Recent reports have suggested that Serie A could play a role in this transfer saga.

Transfer market expert Matteo Moretto told Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing that PSG still haven’t opened direct talks with any possible targets yet, taking things slow following Mbappe’s decision.

Milan star Leao knows that the Ligue 1 giants are a possibility in the summer transfer window, with the club keeping a close eye on him, but there has been no contact yet.

PSG sporting advisor Luis Campos is a fan of Osimhen, who was targeted by the French side last summer, but their acquisition of Randal Kolo Muani complicates things, with both players filling the same role.

The Ligue 1 outfit have a shortlist of possible options ahead of the summer transfer window and various players are aware that a move to the French capital could be on the cards, but this saga will take months to develop.
