Sky Sport Italia maintains Tottenham are leading the race for Genoa defender Radu Dragusin despite talks with Napoli and Milan.

Dragusin is the most wanted Serie A defender in the January transfer window, with Tottenham, Napoli, Milan and Bayern Munich interested in securing his services this month.

Sky Sport Italia confirms Milan have entered negotiations with Genoa by offering Lorenzo Colombo in a player-plus-cash swap deal.

According to Sky’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Dragusin and Colombo’s agents have discussed the transfer values of their clients to determine whether a deal between Genoa and Milan would be possible.

Di Marzio also confirms Bayern have shown interest in the Romania international, but Tottenham remain in pole position.

Spurs have reportedly offered €25-26m plus add-ons. It is close to Genoa’s €30m asking price, but the two clubs are also negotiating over the ‘payment methods.’

Dragusin, 21, has scored two goals in 19 Serie A appearances with Genoa this season.
