Transfer deadline day liveblog – PSG hovering for Skriniar, Zaniolo left hoping

Join us to follow the Serie A rumours and done deals as they happen on transfer deadline day of the January transfer window.

The Serie A January transfer window closes at 19.00 UK time this evening.

Paris Saint-Germain do not want to wait for Milan Skriniar and are reportedly ready to offer €15m plus €5m in add-ons for the Inter defender.

Should the Nerazzurri sell Skriniar, they’d look to immediately replace him with Atalanta centre back Merih Demiral.

Nicolo Zaniolo has now been clearly frozen out of the project at Roma and will be hoping for a deadline day move to avoid spending the next six months on the sidelines. Leeds made an approach yesterday but only offered a loan deal, which was quickly rejected.

Cremonese are working on picking up Chelsea owned midfielder Tiémoué Bakayoko, who has not featured at all at Milan this season.
